Join us!
By becoming a member, you will be informed of our many forays that take place twice a month during the mushrooms season. Learn how to hunt for morels in spring (and become an "official morel mushroom hunter"), or identify chanterelles in the middle of summer, or search for boletes in the fall. Attending our forays is the best way to begin your education in mushroom identification. Here you will begin to learn the numerous features that help you to identify mushroom species, learn about their important ecological roles, and begin to make new friends and acquaintances.
The foray schedule is a benefit of IMA membership. However, if your interested in starting your education right away, contact us and we'll be happy to introduce you to the world of fungi through one of our forays.
