&lt;p&gt;Vesna Jovanovic is a Chicago artist who was born in Chicago, lived in Yugoslavia for much of her childhood, and returned to Chicago in 1991 to pursue her education. Vesna’s presentation will highlight her interests in both art and science, as expressed in her work “Pinhole Experiments,” a series of exquisite photographs of mushrooms created from her personally designed and crafted pinhole cameras.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A highly coveted medicinal fungus that only grows naturally on the heads of caterpillars living above 14,000 feet in the Himalaya mountains can also be found in the United States. John C. Holliday is to thank for that.&lt;/p&gt;
